SYNOPSIS
Seol Hee-ju, the daughter-in-law of the chairman of Myungwangsung Group and the wife of Koh Bong-sik, the president of Myungwangsung Motors, is found dead from a fatal knife stab in the chest. This tragedy sheds light on one bourgeois family's corrupt secrets and labor-management disputes within the corporation and brands Seol Hee-ju as the woman everyone wanted to kill. Hee-joo's lover Oh Min-soo becomes a prime suspect but the case soon becomes deadlocked. Hee-joo was a student activist who became disillusioned by the cause and gave into Bong-sik's persistent courtship. Marriage for her was just the beginning of another struggle. But when the passion in their marriage dies down all too quickly, she falls into a state of delusion and realizes that her plans are impossible to carry out. She resorts to the only one thing that can save her.
