1972, Milano. We are just a few days before the general elections. The daughter of a well-known professor is found dead. Mr Bizanti editor in chief of newspaper "Il Giornale", in agreement with its owner Mr. Montelli, decides to charge of following the story the junior Roveda and the senior Lauri. At one point, some elements indicates senator Boni as a possible murderer. All the "old guard" within "Il Giornale" drives articles in order to underline responsibilities of senator Boni.         "This is an out of print French release. It was downloaded from rutracker. I don't know if it was ever released on DVD in Italy, but I certanly failed to find any info on that. "Signore e signori, buonanotte" only saw the light of day in 2009, so I wouldn't be at all surprised if this was forgotten too. Whatever the case may be, I think this is the first time that this movie is available on DVD with proper English subs. Huge thanks go to grom_bg for the original upload and to Bordz1 for the Italian audio synchronization. Both Russian and Italian audio were taken from a TVrip. The quality is excellent.
        I made the subs from scratch. The subs that can be found on usual sites are not worth mentioning. I thought that I could correct them in no time, but after the 5th line I realized I was wrong. It was very difficult, but I'm pleased with the results and hope you will be too. Enjoy."
