After high school graduated at Film School Zlin under Prof. Jan Gogola who is still dramaturgist of all his former student's writing. Accepted at FAMU Prague film academy to screenwriting and directing courses, studies directing under Karel Smyczek and Jaromil Jires. Didn't finish his studies thanks to early success in directing commercials.
