Emmett J. Scanlan (born 31st January 1979) is an Irish actor from Dublin.
In 2008 and 2009, Scanlan appeared in the Justin Timberlake-produced MTV series The Phone, as "The Operator". He also featured in RTÉ Two's fly on-the-wall documentary series, Hollywood Trials.
Scanlan's other roles include the films Colour from the Dark, Studs and Freakdog (2008).[citation needed] He also starred in Charlie Casanova where he played the lead role of Charlie.
