Cathy Yan is a New York-based filmmaker who received an MFA from Tisch. Her feature directorial debut, DEAD PIGS, invested by Alibaba Pictures and Media Asia with China’s premiere arthouse filmmaker, Jia Zhangke as executive producer premiered in the World Dramatic Competition of Sundance 2018. Her comedic series “According To My Mother” won Best Drama Pilot at the New York Television Festival and participated in IFP Film Week and the Sundance New Voices Lab.
